This data uses a national employer survey to show numbers and percentages of people employed in jobs in industries in each broad industrial group. Data is shown for Lincolnshire and Districts, and also for smaller areas (such as Wards, and Lower super output areas (LSOAs from the 2011 Census)). Some limitations of the dataset are that figures for small areas (Wards and LSOAs) exclude employees in farm agriculture (Standard Industrial Classification subclass 01000). The figures include businesses registered for PAYE but not for VAT. Values may be rounded and low numbers suppressed (particularly at smaller geographies) so numbers may not tally precisely with figures for larger areas. Figures are shown for the most recent year available, although these are provisional and may be subject to later revision by ONS. This data is based on the ONS Business Register and Employment Survey (BRES, open access) sourced from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) Nomis website. More detailed breakouts of Standard Industrial Classifications are available from the Source weblink. This dataset is updated annually

These Open Data files show payments made by Lincolnshire County Council to suppliers each month, where the combined value of an invoice is over £500. In situations where the total invoice amount is over £500, individual payments contributing to the invoice total are shown. Details relating to some payments may be redacted for reasons of personal or commercial confidentiality. A more detailed statement of the council’s published spending information is available on the Lincolnshire County Council website (see the Source link). This data is updated monthly. Business demography data counts numbers of active businesses with turnover or employment in a reporting year. It also indicates numbers of new businesses (business births) and numbers of businesses terminated (business deaths) during the reporting year. Numbers and percentages of businesses that were newly created during years leading up to the latest reporting year, and which were still surviving, are also shown. When using the data, comparative business birth or death rates may be constructed adhoc if needed, by dividing the number of births or deaths by the number of active businesses. Please note that due to being required early in the reporting cycle, numbers of business deaths are provisional and may be subject to later revision. For more information about the dataset and its methodology, see the source link. Source: Office for National Statistics (ONS)
Annual statistics on the number and proportion (%) of children living in low income families both before and after housing costs. The tables show numbers and percentages for children aged under 16 living in Relative low income families, by local authority. These tables contains Official Statistics on the number of children living in Relative low income families After Housing Costs (AHC) and Relative and Absolute low income families Before Housing Costs (BHC.) Figures are calibrated to the Households Below Average Income (HBAI) UK total of children living in low income households. Please note- The DWP carried out a consultation in 2025 for a new statistical series which affected this dataset. The new data series was published in 2026 which covered data 2024 onwards, and they will not re-publish data prior to this. This page has the previous, pre-2022 data file - identified by the [Archived] note, alongside the new data series. Due to changes, the two data files will not be like for like for comparison purposes. 2023 data was not available. Description for Archived pre-2022 data: This dataset shows official annual experimental statistics for numbers and percentages of Children age under 16 living in Relative and Absolute low income families, by Local Authority District and Ward. Percentages are calculated by dividing the number of children age 0-15 living in low income families by resident children age 0-15 from mid-year population estimates. The latest data is marked P for Provisional and is subject to future revision. Data source: Department for Work and Pensions and HM Revenue and Customs. Updates are according to government statistics releases. For more information about this data and its methodology, please see the Source link.
Household Waste Collected and Recycling rates. The dataset shows annual (financial year) figures for Local Authority Districts and Lincolnshire. The data shows the quantity (kg) of Household Waste Collected per person. (This reflects former national indicator BVPI 84a). The data also shows the overall Household Recycling and Composting Rate, as a percentage of household waste. (This reflects former national indicator NI192). Household Waste figures are used to calculate the Recycling rates. The county total figure for Household Waste may be higher than the sum of the districts, because Lincolnshire is a disposal authority not a collection authority. The data is updated annually. This data shows the percentage of adults (age 18 and over) who are current smokers. Smoking is the single biggest cause of preventable death and illnesses, and big inequalities exist between and within communities. Smoking is a major risk factor for many diseases, such as lung cancer, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD, bronchitis and emphysema) and heart disease. It is also associated with cancers in other organs. Smoking is a modifiable lifestyle risk factor. Preventing people from starting smoking is important in reducing the health harms and inequalities. This data is based on the Office for National Statistics (ONS) Annual Population Survey (APS). The percentage of adults is not age-standardised. In this dataset particularly at district level there may be inherent statistical uncertainty in some data values. Thus as with many other datasets, this data should be used together with other data and resources to obtain a fuller picture. Data source: Office for Health Improvement and Disparities (OHID) Public Health Outcomes Framework (PHOF) indicator 92443 (Number 15). This data is updated annually.
